You have just purchased one of the world's most recognized furnishings. Bowden's Furniture is confident that you will enjoy many years of enjoyment from the home furnishings you have selected. The service we offer after sales is also among the finest. In this regard, we have detailed below the policies that apply.

SPECIAL ORDERS

Your merchandise will be ordered promptly. Please be aware that custom order furniture is manufactured specifically for you and may need some extra time to arrive. Please allow up to 12 weeks for delivery. Occasionally, fabric, leather, or component shortages beyond Bowden's Furniture control may cause a further delay. When these situations arise, we will contact you and inform you of the delay.

A minimum 30% non-refundable deposit is required on all special orders.

WARRANTY

Upholstery Upholstery is warranted to the initial customer for one year against manufacturer's defects. Manufacturers of upholstery fabrics do not warranty for wearability or colourfastness. We endeavor to sell only the best fabrics based on information from suppliers and personal experience, but we regret that we cannot honor adjustments, claims, or credits for these properties.

Fading, pilling, and shading are characteristics of certain types of fabrics and are not defects. Seat cushions may slip or shift slightly around foam cores and are not covered by warranty. Regular cushion rotation will reduce this problem.

Leather Leather product is warranted to the initial customer for 1 year against manufacturer’s defects. If a concern arises, we will repair or replace the leather or Leather/Finesse part in question. Nature itself has worked into the texture certain markings that are not considered defects. As a material of nature, leather will absorb and stain according differently. We believe that these natural differences make your piece unique and unlike any other.

Casegoods (wood products) Casegoods are guaranteed by Bowden's Furniture for one year against manufacturer’s defects. It is the nature of the wood to have knots, mineral deposits, wormholes, and unusual grain patterns. They are inherent to the product and not defective unless they interfere with the product providing satisfactory service.

REMEMBER: The Manufacturer Warranty covers only labor for the first year. It is the Customer’s responsibility to get the furniture to and from the authorized service depot.

REFUND POLICY

Bowden's Furniture will exchange "In Stock" items ONLY within 7 days of delivery. A pick-up fee will be charged. Some restrictions will apply. Ask store for details.

Special Orders: These items are ordered specifically for you and your home. These items are NON-CANCELABLE and NON-REFUNDABLE after 48 hours of initial order. A 30% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit is required on all special order items. In the case of a manufacturer's defect occurring, Bowden's Furniture will make every effort to repair the defective item.

Extended warranty, mattress pads, sheets & delivery charges are non‑refundable.

PICK-UPS

If you would like to pick up your purchase, please call the store at least 2 days in advance, so that we may prepare your order. The address you will pick up your furniture is 3208 - 9 Avenue North. You will need to bring handling materials such as rope and blankets. Any damage incurred by customers' own transportation is not warranted.

DELIVERY

Bowden’s Furniture has a very professional delivery staff who respect your furniture & home as much as you do. In order to help us with a smooth & safe delivery of your new furniture, we ask that you make sure there will be a clear path into your house and the room your new furniture will be going into. DUE TO INSURANCE REASONS, BOWDEN'S IS NOT ABLE TO MOVE ANY OF YOUR EXISTING FURNITURE.

DAMAGES

Deliveries: If any damage is found upon receipt of your order, immediately call our Service Department. We will promptly repair, or if necessary, replace damaged items.

STORAGE OR LAYAWAY

Delivery of in-stock sale merchandise must be taken within 30 days, unless otherwise arranged. All other merchandise can be placed on layaway under the following conditions: 30% of the purchase price (taxes included) to be paid at the time of order, and the full purchase price to be paid within 6 months (non‑refundable).
